Pastor Kris Langham

Trained and employed as an engineer (rocket scientist), Pastor Kris has also taught Jr High Algebra.  He served as the High School pastor at Refuge in Huntington Beach, CA until 2007, when the Lord impressed upon him to move to the Gulf Coast.  Pastor Kris had led several teams of high schoolers to the Gulf coast to participate in the recovery efforts following Hurricane Katrina.  It was on one of these trips that the Lord spoke through His Word and confirmed the call to move.

In 2007, Pastor Kris and his family sold their home in California and moved to Bay St Louis in order to serve in the newly planted church that arose from the disaster relief efforts.  He came alongside Pastor Frank Griffin and served as the assistant pastor, until Pastor Frank was led by the Lord to continue his ministry in another area.  In May 2009, Pastor Kris took over the role of Senior Pastor.

Pastor Kris has been married to Andrea, his high school sweetheart, for 14 years, and they have three children - Daisy (12), Kaleb (9) and Shiloh (5).
